The members of Bellwood Mennonite Church are very active in the programs of the church.

The Youth Group meets every week as a Sunday School Group and also in a biweekly activity. Every two years they attend the National Youth Convention.

The school age children, from kindergarten to sixth grade are known as the Venture Club, meet every Wednesday night for fun, fellowship, and a Bible based study.  The children also meet every Sunday morning for a Bible Lesson and activities prior to the Worship Service.

The ladies in our church are invited to attend a monthly meeting to work on mission programs and good fellowship. This group is known as Mennonite Women and meet on the first Thursday of each month. They are a mission and service arm of the Mennonite Church. 

The men share a prayer breakfast and Bible Study the first and third Saturday mornings at 6:30.

Many in our church family are involved in the Nebraska MCC Relief Sale. The Mennonites across Nebraska hold an annual relief sale in the spring of the year. Many quilts and handmade crafts, along with antiques, and other items are sold. This event is held at Hamilton Fair Grounds. A representative from Bellwood is on the State Board Relief Sale and two contact couples are selected by the congregation to help in the planning of the sale.

When disaster strikes, you can count on the church members to become a part of the larger Mennonite Church that forms Mennonite Disaster Service.

Two couples help to form the Meat Canning Committee with the Meat Canning Program that takes place in November.   The Mennonite Churches of our area gather in Milford at the Milford Fire Barn to can meat where it is sent to help the hungry of the world.  All church members are encouraged to help with the event.

 A community outreach that reaches into many community homes is provided by the Bellwood Christian Montessori Preschool.  The director of the school is Sandra Stauffer and her assistants are Raquel Sweeney and Sue Yoder.
