Budget 2010-2011 It is time to think about financial planning for the next fiscal year. The various Ministries of Education, Missions, Trustees, Stewardship, Shape and Elders will be submitting their financial needs to the Board of Stewards
. If you have responsibilities i n one of these ministries that requires funds, please talk to your respective minister or one of the stewards. We have tentatively set our first budget planning session for September 22 . Board of Stewards

You did it! There are now 217 pairs of empty hands that will be filled with school supplies. Blessings to each one who helped provide for the needs of little children going to school around the world. The school kits have been delivered to the Newton MCC office.

Do you have the August 8 (Larry & Jud
y Meyer) DVD from the library? We have two and they are both missing, please return.

Bellwood's third annual Block Party will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15, starting at 6:00 pm. The evening includes a picnic, bouncy house, face painting, games and live music. More information and a sign-up sheet for volunteers are included in the bulletin. Please submit your family numbers as well as the number of guests you are bringing. On Wednesday, Sept. 8, we will walk the blocks around Bellwood passing out invitations and offering a prayer for the neighbors in the area. Come be a part of this crucial element of our outreach. Meet at the church at 7:00 for our neighborhood walk.

You are invited to Beth-El's Sunday evening service on September 12th at 6:30. Maynard Knepp, MCC Warehouse Resource Supervisor will be sharing a PowerPoint presentation on MCC's response to Haiti. Many of you may know Maynard through his sharing a couple of years ago at the Et-Cetera Appreciation Night.

All changes for the new Faith Family Directories must be turned into the office by September 7.
