Budget 2010-2011 It is time to think about financial planning for the next fiscal year. The various Ministries of Education, Missions, Trustees, Stewardship, Shape and Elders will be submitting their financial needs to the Board of Stewards. If you have responsibilities in one of these ministries that requires funds, please talk to your respective minister or one of the stewards. You did it! There are now 217 pairs of empty hands that will be filled with school supplies. Blessings to each one who helped provide for the needs of little children going to school around the world. The school kits have been delivered to the Newton MCC office.

Bellwood's third annual Block Party will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15, starting at 6:00 pm. The evening includes a picnic, bouncy house, face painting, games and live music. More information and a sign-up sheet for volunteers are included in the bulletin. Please submit your family numbers as well as the number of guests you are bringing. On Wednesday, Sept. 8, we will walk the blocks around Bellwood passing out invitations and offering a prayer for the neighbors in the area. Come be a part of this crucial element of our outreach. Meet at the church at 7:00 for our neighborhood walk.

Special Prayer Focus: Block Party
TheCommunity Youth Groupwill be meeting the SECOND SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH.That means this September 12th at 7:00 p.m. all youth in grades 7 - 12 are welcomed to join at the GraceMissionaryYouth Church (located on 4th & B Street). We will meet from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., the second Sunday of every month, for a time of worship, singing and socializing!!! Always remember to bring along a friend. See you there.

If you have any comments, thoughts, concerns, better ideas or affirmations please let the committee that is working on this know by Sept. 19th. They are Don Yeackley, Carolyn Peters, John Goertzen, Carrie Maple and Craig Bontrager.The Eldersare also available as a resource. At some point in the near future, a congregational vote of affirmation will be taken. Please pray for God's guidance and direction as we try to be the congregation He has called us to be.
A CPMC Outreach and Service Committee Meeting will be held Saturday, September 11 from 8:30-4:00 at Bellwood. Members are requesting lodging. If you would be willing to host someone, please see Katie Spohn.
Central Plains Conference Ministers David Boshart, Tim Detweiler and Shana Peachey Boshart will be visiting our congregation on Sunday, Sept. 12, from 4-5:30. They are asking our congregation to respond to three questions: 1) What would you like conference staff to know about your congregation? 2) What are the challenges your church needs to be prepared to meet in the next five years? 3) As a congregation, what do you want conference to care about most? All are welcome to this 90 minute meeting.
